Description: PW3 - (Cost Affidavit) This is a DOB form used to report the estimated cost and final actual cost of permitted construction work.
Practical Meaning: Before a job can be signed off, the applicant must enter and verify the final cost details in the PW3. The final cost must be reported even when it is the same as the original estimated cost.
Where You May See It: You may see it in the Cost Affidavit (PW3) section of DOB NOW: Build, on a DOB filing record, and in documents submitted by the applicant of record or filing representative. Owners cannot update the PW3 section themselves
Why It Matters: DOB uses the PW3 to document job costs and calculate applicable filing fees. Verified Final Cost Details are required before a Letter of Completion request can be submitted in DOB NOW: Build.
